Short barrel total length question.

Rimfire and non semi auto shotguns can be NR under 18.5" barrel

I have a 32" oal 22 with 16" barrel and a 31" oal shotgun with a 14" barrel

Minimum is 26"

20.5"

For those of you who have put a 10.5" or shorter barrel on your rifle.
What is your total length of your rifle then?

I googled this for a somewhat close answer to what I assume is an AR question and not about shotguns.

From Colt's webpage listing for the 11.5" barreled Commando:

OVERALL LENGTH: 30.7 in (78 cm)
Stock Retracted: 27.5 in (70 cm)

Sorry my bad.
An AR type / restricted rifle.
When does a SBR become a pistol? Does having a shoulder stock that doesnt fold make it a rifle?
Ie su16 pistol. Since you can swap lowers, it would become prohib if you did, correct?

Option 1 :Semi auto, center fire with barrel lengh over 18,5" = non restricted

Option 2 :Semi auto, center fire with barrel lengh under 18,5" = restricted

Option 3 :Semi auto, center fire with barrel under 4,1 " = Prohib

Your gun fits in only one of these categories.
*If Its an AR Variant then. Option 1 Is included in option 2. So you only have the choice between restricted or prohib when it comes To AR's

Hope it helps

There's no SBR class in Canada. Either rifle(restricted, nonrestricted or prohib) or pistol(ALL restricted or prohib) If it has a buttstock then it's a rifle. If you can swap an su-16 pistol upper onto a nonrestricted su-16 lower then that would become a restricted rifle because of barrel length. I think. Lol. I remember something about once a pistol always a pistol??? Kinda early in the morning to be interpreting Canadian gun laws. Lmao. This early in the morning it gives me a headache. Later in the day just makes me angry. Lol
