Need a idea on a good load someone might have for 30-30.
Preferably RL 15 - 4895 - 414 - 4350-Varget as I have those powders.

What groups could you expect out of this at 100.?
Is 2" good in these.?

I've loaded IMR3031, H414, Varget, 4895 in the 30/30.
some rifles prefer one over another while another rifle was'nt fussy about what you fed it. The only way to know for sure is to dig into some manuals or websites, make a decision and start loading.
The rifle will tell you all you need to know.

Rifles tend to be individualistic, what works well in one may or may not work as well in another. Having said that an accurate rifle will shoot any reasonable load fairly well. A consistent 2" rifle is better than a rifle that shoots inch groups, but inexplicably throws a flyer to 3" from time to time. A 2" group is certainly good field accuracy. How accurately can you shoot in the field? Most of us would have nothing to complain about if our rifles made 2 MOA on demand in the field.

Of the powders you list, I think you will find Re-15 and 4895 the most suitable for the .30/30. Finding the best load for your rifle is up to you.

I have used 3031 for many years in a 16 inch bbl Winchester , don't know the velocity. Don't remember why I picked that powder but under 3 moa made stay with it.
