Short lever actions

I recently was considering buying a mares laig in a .44mag then decided against it as it seemed like more of a novelty than a backpacking defence weapon (plus I couldn't find one) however is the a like priced lever action in .44mag or similar cal with a full length stock?
Full stock-short barrel kind of thing!

I have a Rossi 92 16" barrel full stock, I like it but so far it's accuracy is inconsistent, the factory sights are terrible I put a Skinner barrel mount sight on it with a higher front post, there was a Winchester 16" for sale yesterday in the sporting arms section.

Yes non restricted $609.99 from Wanstalls for one it is light to carry about 5#.

I know the mares leg is legal and there is no reason for adding a stock to it to be illegal but that doesn't seem to stop our lawmakers!

Go ask in the humongous mares leg thread. THere are pics and lots of info there about people doing the conversion etc.

I put a full stock on my rossi ranch hand 44mag and getting it drilled and tapped for a reflex sight.
It is a fun hunting rifle with the full stock .
Chiappa makes a 12" carbine with a short and full stock combo so you can still have sum fun with the mare's leg and put a full stock on it when its time for working rifle
dam mares legs I have 3 of them haha

Hello gun maniacs . I just got a Henry Mares Leg 22 and would like to get the carbine stock for it to make it a bit more usable for my requirements. Anyone know where I can find such a item? thanx!

i got myself a mare's leg in 44mag, nice little gun. then since i wanted one with a full stock i got an 1892 in 44mag as well lol.
