Shortage of 9MM?

I went to Wholesale Sports,SIR in Winnipeg and Wolverine Sports in Virden,Manitoba and they were all out of 9mm ammo,Did any one have that same problem in any other parts of Canada and do you think there is a shortage of 9mm???:confused: :confused: :confused:
 
I was in Wholesale this afternoon ( first browse of the new store) and there was commercial 124gr. 9mm on the shelf - Winchester and ?. Also 25-35:) ! About the only bare spot was the .307.
 
Bought the last two thousand out of Virden about ten day's ago.
They said they had more on order but didn't know when they would get it.
Sorry about that but I can shoot, shoot, shoot.

'Depends....
One store I use (as they'll haggle a bit on price) has no trouble getting me cases of AE .223.
If they don't have it in stock he usually gets it for me from his supplier in a day or two.
'Bought a thousands rounds one day... Went back a month later for a thousand more and only waited two days for it.
 
We're fortunate in this part of the country to have a manufacturer like Canadian BDX. Product a-plenty and at better than retail pricing:D . I have found their 9mm and 40SW to be more consistent and accurate than the big name factory stuff:eek: ...I have yet to try the 45ACP but I know the run is very limited at present and would not be surprised if it was not available unless previously ordered. If you go through a lot of it, it may be worth looking at even with the shipping cost;) .
