So I called yesterday after i noticed that the check cleared. They told me all they are waiting on is the photo to be scanned and then it will be ready for approval..... today is day 28 and still not yet approved.

Today is not over yet. ;)

OK so all I have to say is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

Called in today and asked about my application she said it could take up to 45 days to finish proccesing it... I remained calm and thanked her for her time and made my way back to my desk where I noticed that my application changed from in progress to Completed :)

Nov 1 mailed out
Nov 2 Rec'd
Nov 26 showed up online
Nov 26 completed Intial Processing
Nov 30 Approved :)

all said and done 29 days now the wait for the post man to arrive.

My card was issued on the 22nd.. still a no show.. From What I have read it will take about 10 business days to get you. This is the part I am having the most trouble being patient for. Because I know my two pistols are sitting at the dealer waiting to have the transfer initiated on but all I need are those magic numbers. CFO will not give them to me over the phone.

its now online.."processing in progress" thanks ^

Awesome! If the time line is the same you should be getting a call for your interview in the second week of December.

Hatata, I can relate to that. Ours were approved/issued on November 14th, mailed on November 16th, my husband received his on November 26th, so 5 full business days. Mine didn't arrive so I called yesterday to be informed that someone had entered my address incorrectly into the database, so they said they would re-issue it and send it out...so now I wait some more. So incredibly frustrating!
I called the CFC today and politely asked for my license number since I had to wait the additional time due to a mistake that was theirs not mine, no dice.
I then called the BC CFO this afternoon and explained the situation and asked for my license number so that I could at least get on with submitting the paperwork for my ATT, again no dice.
On the upside she did take all the info. for my ATT over the phone and submitted the application for me, so at least that's in progress.
The lady I spoke to was very helpful, she was not with the BC CFO's office, she said BC CFO was so far behind that they were helping them out with their applications.
Now I just need the card to show up so I can call the store and have them initiate the transfer for my very first firearm!

I'm in the exact situation. 18 days today for my rpal application. Called yesterday and a very nice lady said to keep checking, it should be any day now as they are starting to catch up.

OK sweet so my application was mailed today then...nice

Thanks for the info. (at first i thought that just ment it is ready to print)

Well it sort of does. From what I'm told they print on Fridays, so may go out today, Monday or next Friday, Monday. Hence the reason they say 2 weeks to receive. Depending where in the country you are will depend. I know my pal took 10 days to BC.

I think you're right about the Friday thing. Ours were issued on November 14th, which was a Wednesday. When I called yesterday after 15 days had elapsed since mine had been issued and it hadn't shown up in the mail (as they tell you to), they checked my file and said it had been sent out on November 16th, which was a Friday.

Friday thing could be true.

Mine sent out last week sometime. Not exactly sure yet but it didn't snow up this week.

I'm hoping for Monday, but probably be later next week, near the full two weeks they mention.

They must be sick of all the calls and working overtime. This morning I checked my status and no change. This afternoon I was showing my wife how I check the status and it changed to in progress. It's Saturday today so either they are in there working to catch up or they have a big delay from inputting till when it shows up online.

My application finally showed up online. It took 3 weeks to show up. They got it 8-Nov-12, and it showed up 21-Nov-12. Hoping they get the rest of it processed soon.

20, 21 days from when they received it is about right for it to show up online. If you are applying for RPAL you can likely expect your interview in the first few business days after they have had your application for 28 days...
