NVM.. I just checked the status website and voila!

Application Received on: 2013/08/26


Current Status: Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000)

So.. 63 days from receipt to final approval. Card is in the mail, and I have my license number already thanks to the new RCMP status checking website, which gave it to me plain as day! Time to place some orders!! Woot! :)

Hmm I don't know about that long wait. My interview was done Thursday last week, my first reference the same day and my second reference Friday. My status changed to issued this morning. Plus I got my license number. So I wouldn't worry about another 30 days. Keep checking. I am sure your status will change shortly.
 
I sent my RPAL application in on August 2nd. I phoned a few times in September and got the usual call back in two week runaround. Phoned in on October 24 and did my interview and had my references phone in on October 25. My status changed to liscence issued on October 25. Pulled my # off the CFC website October 29. All in all by the time the card is in my hand 90+ days. Now the big question is M-14 or AR-15.
 
Quick question, does everyone get 2 copies of each test stamped from the CFO?

I got my stamped results fairly quick, wrote test on Oct. 4 and got the results Oct. 28.
 
Hey guys how long does it take after all the interviews are done for your RPAL to be issued.

Last reference called in last week. Online website(old site) still hasn't changed from "Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date." I read some people mention that it changes a few hours after the interview.

Does it go to the BC CFO after the interviews for approval? If so any idea on how long they will take?
Its been 97 days since the application was received...

Exactly. it's total BS.. but that is why it is highly advised for those in Bantario to send in their app w/o the stamped papers with a written note that you will fax them in once received from the CFO.

Yep, I did exactly that :)

Is it right that the CFO sent me 2 copies of my CFSC and 2 copies of my CRFSC, all stamped?
At the bottom it says COPY 1; for student submission with firearm licence application. COPY 2; Processing site. COPY 3; Instructor. COPY 4; CFO.

So to my understanding, I should have only received a copy of each test?
 
My instructor told me to keep one copy and send the other to the CFO with my application, they didn't send the CFO a copy themselves. I'm guessing it's probably the same for you.

no you should have all 4 pages.. where the CFO is assuming you won't send in your app w/o the stamped copy.. but you don't need to send it.. just fax a copy in etc (or scanned via email if the CFC will be happy with that.. ask the person dealing with your application). And be sure as always to keep the originals in a very safe place!

Ok perfect!! I called yesterday, I'm not in the system yet, gotta wait a couple more weeks. Then get my app # to attach to the stamped results and send it in.

Just got mine, I called right after I saw the money withdrawn from my account, then ~4 weeks later did my interview, had my references call that day and had my PAL 3 business days later.

The first person I spoke to told me to call back ~2 weeks to see if the interview was ready, 2 weeks later a person told me 3 more weeks, I called 2 weeks later anyhow, the person told me to wait for them to call me, I called a week later, bam, interview. So, don't listen to them if they tell you to wait until they call you.
