Shorten PAL Approval Times

Hey Guys

how many of you sent in your application without the official test results? I'm a little hesitant to do it because I think when I sent in the test results they will have a hard time matching it with my application and give me some BS about loosing one or the other, has anyone experienced this??

I did and there was no problem.. as soon as I got them I faxed them in and by the time the bantario cfo blunders his way through sending you the results your app will already be in the system
therefore just call them and ask for your case# etc and then write a note on the edge of the results papers.. easy to match up that way :)
 
I sent in mine 04/22 still have not heard anything back and just see the regular 'passed initial processing' message, called a month or so ago and didn't get any information. Just there is no reason for a hold and it'll come when it comes.

Yeah they moved the page I guess, was a bit of a ##### to find today:

Hello everyone....just have a few questions if anyone is so kind to answer them.

here is some preliminary info:

province: alberta
non restricted
pal application delivered xpress august 11/2014
application online: September 04/14
online status: "Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date. "
September 04/14: called the 1800 number to verify that all information was correct on my application, the lady told me "your application is just waiting for your photo to be scanned"

question: is this the final process?
should i call and enquire again?...i think they log calls

or should i just wait a few more weeks. thanks so much.

im exited to go hunting this season.

Of course they stuff it somewhere no one can find haha...
 
WAAAHOOOOO. MY LICENSE HAS BEEN APPROVED AND ISSUED TODAY SEPTEMBER 8TH.
mailed application on august 5th. Last Thursday I was told it just needed my photo scanned, and sent to my provincial for final approval.
 
My application was received august 11/2014 and last Friday (September 5/2014) I was told that my picture just needed to be scanned.... Still waiting

Did you put a note on the application that you will be sending it in later? or just left that question blank?
 
I got mine too! It looks like the approach works in Ontario great!

Mailed in July 26.
Received July 30.
Appeared Online Aug 25.
Out of Town for two weeks and back on Sept 4
Called in to confirm all information on Sept 5.
Reference called in on Sept 8.
Check online today, Sept 9. ISSUED. :)

Well, the reality in Ontario just validated theory!
excluding the two weeks I was out of town, I got mine one week right after evgueni72 get his! YeeHa! :)
