I finally received my PAL today! I completed the CFSC and CRFSC in February, received the results and sent off application to Miramichi on March 3. It was received by them March 9. Received my PAL card today in the mail.
 
I did my course in February, mailed in the forms in March, I was charged the fees in early June, but I still can't get confirmation or a status from the website. The waiting continues.
 
I'm in Ontario, did the course in December 2019, paid for the license early January 2020. Got approved mid July, got the plastic card 2 weeks later.

CFO called one of my references and myself. The conversation lasted about 5 minutes. The online status changed about 10 minutes after the phone call.
 
Is there a rough timeline on when your application will at least show it has been received? CFSC and CRFSC completed on June 27 and 28. Application mailed on June 30. No record of my application on the RCMP website or fees charged as of yet.

Similar timeline, mine was received (per CanadaPost) on July 16th, nothing yet.

Looks some early May applications just got opened recently.....

Good to hear if they are now processing some May applications. I submitted early June so hopefully not too long before they get to mine.
 
I noticed the original post says it was written 20 years ago - does anyone know what the current wait is like in BC if applied for through a testing center at the same time as the course was taken?

It really all depends on how lucky you are, mine arrived March 30 only came online this Monday, the CFP tells me to allow 3 months but to call back next month for a status update. Some people who's arrived after mine have reported that theirs have already been issued, whereas other who have applied before me haven't gotten their either. It seems there is no order of operations, it's just when they get to it. Good luck and just be patient

Alright, thank you haha. I booked my CFSC for early next month, hope my PAL comes quickly :)

May I ask when you sent it in?
Did you do it via registered mail?
Mine was sent in June and the website still indicates they haven't started processing my application yet (plus they haven't charged m credit card)

Ironically my application was also received on 2020-06-08, and showing the same update. Can you pls update us if anything changes??? I will do the same
