Shorten PAL Approval Times

Apr 15 - Tests passed
Apr 28 - App sent
May 3 - Delivery signed for at Miramichi
May 15 - Contacted Ontario CFO for an update, told that they're processing tests from the week of the 18th, so I should have mine back within a week or two
... to be continued
May 18 - Received stamped tests in the mail (stamped May 15)
 
My references did their interviews today before noon and i check my online status and it hasn't been issued .... ##########s now im left hanging for the long weekend... ahhhhhhh....
 
Getting there

Test april 17 and 18.

April 20 sent regular mail.

Entered April 27. Couldn't read my hand writing and spelled my name wrong. Just found that out today.

So nothing has happened in the system.

Waiting for them to fix spelling mistake. Then it can continue. There server is down so I can't check to see if it's fixed!

Yes, and they had just called me and my references for the interview. Curious as to know if it's in transit now.

April 14-15 - Took course.
April 16 - Submitted test results.
April 20 - Test results received in Mirimachi.
May 18 - Me and references interviewed.
May ?? - Blasted application status check is broken.

all my interviews ect. were done on the thursday, was hoping they would have put it all together and fired it off friday.... im gunna check the site now...

PAL posted by std mail - 28th March
Application received - 12th April
Payment taken from CC - 2nd May
Currently passed initial processing & in progress, 28 days fell on 10th May
Licence issued - 21st May, due in 2 weeks time

My time line :
PAL/RPAL posted by recorded delivery - April 23rd
Application received - 27th April
Payment taken from CC - 16th May
On line - 16th May
Currently passed initial processing & in progress, 28 days due on 25th May
 
A week and a half later I'm still being told my application is with the BC CFO. My application was initially received April 13th. Does anyone know a number for the BC CFO? All the ones I can find are either out of service (wtf?) or fax lines.

My app says this.
Current Status: Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date.
Does this mean i can call in for interviews now?
 
i sent mine april 16 they received it april 23 i called in alot and was told they need to scan it into the system before interviews could happen. then i called in and they said it had been scanned and i could do my interview. i then got the extension number and file number for my references to call in for their interviews. now i just called in today and was told all interviews are done but they haven't scanned your picture into the system yet .... that is what i call an inefficient office. it has only been a month though so i'm not pissed just don't see why it should take so long. scanning it into the system and scanning the picture could be done at the same time no? oh yeah mine is a simple upgrade from nonrestricted to restricted.
