Seems like every province is different in regards to the CFO, not sure anymore lol! BC differs alot from Ontario, I would be very surprised if my status changed to "issued" on monday the 24th but it would be like getting a "red rider" bb gun under the tree.
BTW where you from ZacNap?
I didn't have the red rider. Mine was the original gt snow racer. Man those things are awesome still till this day. Lol
Quick approvals, worst transfer times. It's a trade off. Lol
I followed the hints to the letter and sent my app before hand lol! Everything is sent, interviews are done(last week) just waiting for CFO to "officially" approve the Rpal app and have my status change to "approved"from what iv'e been told the RCMP handle everything then it gets sent back to CFO for some stupid reason......
Actually the test results are sent to the ON CFO by the CFO's demand to be stamped unlike any other province. For those doing the test.. you can send in the app w/o those results or if the instructor is nice.. u can send in a scan/print/photocopy etc.. though the original stamped by the CFO will have to be faxed in later.
Point being the ON CFO does this because they are deeply stupid.. aka intentionally.
Just write on the side of the app that you will forward the results as soon as the ON CFO stamps and releases them etc.. and the "waiting period" starts w/o the results being in the CFC's hands.
Also. don't bother w/courier.. cheapest way is via registered mail and the clock starts when that is delivered.
Honestly, this has got to be one of the worst cases of unnecessarily wasted taxpayer dollars. After completing my tests, I was given my test results that day and a copy for my own records. After filling out the paper work, it was sent off 3 days later. Ridiculous!

I agree, it was so simple here in BC, my only delay was getting my references signatures and then I put it in the mail to the CFC. It seems the Ont CFO is on some kind of power trip from other stuff I have read.

There is WAY too much going back and forth from CFO to RCMP, i mean really do the tests need to go to the CFO then back to you, then to Miramichi, then everything gets processed by RCMP then goes back to CFO? For what???![]()
Welcome to yet more of Chris Wyatt's stupidity.

With a name like that he must think he's responsible for disarming Tombstone...LOL
Well for me. I was a current pal holder and after my last interview it instantly was changed to license issued. That was on the 25th day. They told me I needed to wait the 28 days. I called and asked them if I needed to wait or not, they said yes. Go figure...From what I understood in BC anyway it goes into initial processing in Mirimichi. Then goes to the BCCFO office for approval. Then Mirimichi does the interviews and issues the license. Other provinces are different but this is how I understand The BC process at this time.
If thats the process then mine should have been issued ages ago.... Received in Oct 31, interviewed late November with last reference calling in on December 10th. If it was already approved by the BCCFO then it should be back at Mirimachi and already mailed since my last reference called in a few weeks ago. Status online hasn't changed from completed initial processing and in progress.
