Shortening the BBL (Pros&Cons)

Bits of Pieces: What about a stainless steel 629 that is 6" being shortened to 4.1", how much is that to do? Do I just packup the locked revolver and send a copy of the registration form and my ATT?

I believe the price he quoted would apply to Stainless as it is easier to do than blued (I think).

Anyway, call him to confirm, but you need to get a Temporary Permit to Transport to the Post Office. Then you mail it to him as though you were selling it (I'd attach a copy of your PAL and Registration as well to the gun).

He'll get it... you'll work out a payment method... then he'll send it back.

Let me know if I am wrong on any of this ;)

DO IT!! Then post pics :D

4" barrel

I'm fortunate to have a 12(6), but if I didn't, I'd have it shortened in an instant. The 4" barrel revolver does everything well, and has excellent balance. Go for it!!!!

Stainless is $95 (and blue is $115) + postage and taxes.
We need your PAL number and expiry date and the registration certificate number of the firearm.
Turn around time is 6-8 weeks.
