Shortest "legal" break action

I really want to know how these are indexed (regulated), has anyone else patterned this gun? Ejectors, double triggers, chokes, short...its almost too good to be true!? Wondering if it shoots like a cross eyed drunken sailor on shore leave?
 
It shoots good. Had mine the day they came in! Shot it 2 days later

Ran out of ammo before I could do much range testing but I can say the chokes stayed in, ejectors worked well and it went bang every time

I owned this Rossi a few years ago. Haven't seen one in a while. However, I think they have been re-classified and no longer non-restricted……

Here's a few pics of my Warrior in its current config, with a tape measure beside it to give some perspective.

This is the 20" BBL Warrior, with the Extended Modified choke in place, which adds about 1" to the BBL length. The sheath is the leg off an old pair of cargo pants - I had my wife take it in a bit to make a fairly snug fit, double stitch the bottom, and add some velcro at the top to close the flap. It has an old dog leash sewn on the back to use as a quick and dirty carrying sling. The cargo pocket provides ample space for the plastic case with the spare chokes and wrench, plus a dozen shells. Crude, but it works. Overall, a nice, tight little package.

The overall length without the stock is a bit deceiving. The action actually extends into the stock a good 2 & 1/2 or 3 inches - that's the main spring and main spring mount. Sorry for the crappy quality of the pic of the action, it's a screen grab from a video. Martin (aka: Corwin-Arms) does sell a pistol grip for these. I know the 16" BBL with the pistol grip = 3 years in club fed, and that it's legal with the 20" BBL. I'm going to pick up one of the pistol grips at the winter gun show in Calgary this weekend. I figured, if nothing else, it would get some giggles at the range. At least until I end up having to wrap up my wrist for a week after firing it.

Grelmar. Been trying to find a decent slip for my incoming 14". Was thinking about stitching up some canvas but an old pair of jeans should work!

P.s. reading about waxing canvas to water proof, sounds easy & no reason it shouldn't work on your slip.

Hadn't even thought about waxing it, but I'm familiar with the process and it's pretty straightforward... Good idea and thanks!

The black receiver version is already sold out - he only just got them in on the 30th of December. Don't think too long on it, or they'll be done come and gone. I ordered the Black Receiver version, hope to see it on my doorstep Monday (tomorrow). This is what the chromed receiver version looks like.

That little beauty is my next purchase fun gun. Didn't even know they came with a black receiver. The chrome wood combo is kind of calling me tho as pretty much everything I own is in the black rifle/shotgun variety.
 
Just a warning to those with the Warrior single shot. I had mine out last Saturday and on the first shot of the day which was a FTF, the forestock slid off. Looks like the solder job gave way. Easy fix as I am in the process of doing this myself because I can. But those that are looking to get one, buyer beware.
So looking at the pic, this little piece is what the sling loop threads into which holds forestock in place.

Thanks for the update huntsman! I will be taking my single shot warrior out to the range for the first time this Sunday and will definitely keep an eye on the forestock. I'm surprised it just slid off without the force of a shot going off though. Hope they aren't all like that!

Wow... Send a note to Martin at Corwin-Arms, he'll both want to know and want to deal with it (he's good like that).

My only problem with the Warrior so far is that I'm on my 3rd (and last) of the red plastic bead sights that came with it. Other than that, it runs like a champ, and I've even put a couple dozen slugs through it at this point.
 
I had the same think brake off on my Hatsan optima. All Turkish single shots are build the same. One big plus for warrior above all turkish competition is steel receiver. Have one in 20g a with 16 inch barrel it is my number 2 hunting back pack chicken/rabbit gun

I took it work and "silver soldered" it back on. It ain't going no where now. One thing I noticed was the primer protrusion is off center. Could be the reasons for the FTF. I sprayed some wd40 into the firing pin hole to loosen up any factory preserving oil of any then a drop of clp and worked it in and out.

As for slugs, with this gun anyways, i'd stick with I/C.
