Shortest legal tactical shotgun?

According to Remington, modern powder in a shotgun burns completely in 25 to 36 cm barrels.... ie. 16 to 18 inches.

But I do not know how much velocity is lost with, say, the 8.5" Dominion Grizzly barrel.... Yes, a DA Grizzley owner with a chronographer should post the answer....

Yeah I think 6.5 inch is THEE SHORTEST you can possibly get lol.

If you added extended Choke tubes to it your sighting plane might improve... Why is this Post even in this section?

How is a Shotgun with a 6 and a half inch barrel going to do anything more than hit a Barn Door at under 10 meters. Or if it's Halloween your choice of Pumpkins. I don't get it.

I was curious to the shortest legal shotgun, not really any purpose other than that. Not interested in blowing away pumpkins, not interested in shooting someone further away than 10m either. Was only a question.
