ShortTrac now in 7mm-08!!

Just browsing the Browning website and it seems they will be chambering the ShortTrac Stalker, Mossy Oak Break-Up and New Oil Finish in 7mm-08.

I know you Bolt action boys couldn't give two licks but I am really excited. I have been waiting for someone to chamber a semi-auto in 7mm-08 for quite some time.

I think one of these will go quite nicely with my other 7mm-08's.

Now to decide which model though I must say the New Oil Finish does catch my eye.

I've long thought Remington was missing the boat by not chambering the 7mm-08 and the .260 in the autoloader. They're smart enough to legitimize some excellent wildcats, but can't see far enough to chamber them in a rifle that's sold a million units. Duh.

Remington has missed all the boats with their auto loaders.

Having "JAMMASTER" for a nickname probably doesn't boast sales or confidence in the product.

I can't completely agree with your assessment though. They have sold over a million autoloaders, not counting the models 8 and 81, so maybe they're not as stupid as I usually credit them for.
