I'm not a shotgun guy whatsoever, and need some info on models. I'm looking for something to pack as backup while coyote hunting as we can't holster or hunt with a handgun here in Canada. Can you purchase a Rem 870 Super Shorty in Canada? What are the shotgun length regulations in the country? Thanks

The Serbu "Super Shorty" is not available in Canada.
Current available Shorty shotguns, in the non-restricted category:
From shortest barrel to longer, Rem 870 or clones:
-Dlask 6.5" barrel
-Dlask, Dominion Arms or Norinco 8.5" barrel (possibly a magfed available in the future)
-Dlask, Dominion Arms or Norinco 12.5" barrel
-Dominion Arms or Norinco?, Magfed 12.5" bbl
-Norinco HP9 with 14" bbl
-Remington 870P with 14" OEM barrel (quite rare and pricey, but 14" barrels do surface on the odd occasion)
-Norinco or Dominion arms 15" bbl, magfed
Dlask and NEA both make aftermarket short barrels, in varying lengths, that will fit on a stock remington 870.
Dominion Arms 12.5" barrels are also available from Canada Ammo.
