I just came back from watching the new Rambo movie and it was violent to say the absolute least. The new shortened Barrett 50 with a Schmidt Bender scope did some serious damage.
 
yeah, that movie went all out batsh*t crazy violent in the last half. Quite a good movie too, way better than two & three. That was a sweet head removing Barrett...
 
It was almost as if they wanted to use up more 50cal ammo then all of the rest of the action movies in Hollywood. I'm buying it for sure.

Yeah, it was quite realistic wasn't it? lol Supressed shots that no one heard while blowing bodies backwards off their feet and throwing them to the ground.

Typical Hollyweird bull#### if you ask me.

Yeah I know what you mean. A scene in Dances With Wolves never fails to make me burst out into a fit of laughter every time I watch it. It's the part when the Pawnee are raiding the Sioux village and a Pawnee warrior enters the tent of a group of Sioux women. One of the women in the tent ("Stands With A Fist") shoots him with a rifle and sends him flying out the door of the tent! The facial expression on the Pawnee and his actual flight out the doorway of the tent is frickin' priceless! :D
 
Key words for this film....ENTERTAINMENT I'm pretty sure if you saw the Canadian sniper shooting a 16x scoped Tac 50. at the distance we've heard about you'd call bullsh!t too. Some of the other stuff coming out of Iraq is pretty hard to believe too but since they're not filming it somehow it's more believeable. Again, ENTERTAINMENT. I've never shot someone with a 50cal but I've seen the damage done on a thick skinned deer and I'm not sure humans would be able to hold it all together but again, it all depends on the ammo used to do the job.
If a human would react to a 50 hit like a badger reacts to a 338LM, it wouldn't be pretty to watch. That's just my thought.
 
Had a good pro-gun message. The hippies can't fix everything with pacifism and love; the only way to combat bad guys with guns is GOOD GUYS with guns. Without a gun, you're just a victim
