Shot a Beretta Storm tonite

so i was at the club tonite, and a buddy brought out his Beretta Storm in .40,what a blast to shoot, i had never shot one before, but enjoyed it thoroughly, rumour has it , that it "may" be going prohib. any one else heard this ?

No, the Beretta Storm is NOT getting re-classified as prohib anytime soon.....

Unless the Conservatives get booted from office, it shouldn't be going prohib any time soon. That said, the libs and Windbag Cukier, among others, seem to have a real hard on for it, because of Dawson College.

It doesnt matter to LE agencies whether their sidearm is prohibited or not, they are still allowed to carry them.

I have the carbine in 9mm (re-barreled into a non-restricted) and it's a hoot-to-shoot.

If not a bit temperamental in regards to ammo type, lubing, and magazines.

You can get your dangerous, and scary, baby killing machine reclassified as a non restricted for about 3-400 dollars tomorrow if you like. Ellwood Epps and Bits of Pieces have replacement barrels for it to be done. So I dont see that happening anytime soon. And it wouldnt be just the storm being reclassified if it ever did happen.

PX-4's sold in canada are 106mm barrels and are not prohibited, restricted only, so anyone can acquire one.

I don't believe those barrels are factory though? The CBSA PX4s are prohibited.

I have a WTB for a non-restricted in the EE. Mind telling me what you paid and where you got it? I reload 9mm so this would be an amazing addition for me!

I paid $900 for the rifle and $575 for the barrel install. It's worth every penny.

Wendy and her clowns tried to get have it added to the prohib list after the Dawson shooting... they also tried to have it banned from QC (however that would work)...

But firearm owners were on the ball and the government (bureaucrats) understood that 1) it didn't make any sense and 2) adding anything to the prohib list without "rational" documentation would create a sh#t-storm...

If you are looking for an excuse to buy one, the prohib story is as good as any
