I put down a nice doe yesterday from about 150 yards. I shot her in the boiler room with a Remington 700 SPS DM .270 Winchester using a 130 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet. The scope I was using was a Redfield Revolution 3-9x50. She ran into the bush after I shot her. I followed the blood trail for 30 yards and found her dead as a door nail. When I opened her up, I found that her lungs had been shredded. I think it was a fair and humane kill.
