Made the mistake of trying one at the range...DOOOH!

I am used to heavy ALL steel guns. Man I tell this thing is light as a feather, accurate and VERY controllable.

The first mag I shot I put everything inside 3 inchs at 25 yards.

Now I have to buy one....oh darn!

That was one of the first handguns that I shot, and with very little prior experience I managed to put every shot within the 9 or 10 ring.

great gun :dancingbanana:

I too have a 21 SF. Great gun. Shoots everything I put through it without even a single failure. Ball, HP's, +P HP's. I changed the crappy stock sights with Trijicon night sights and put in a stainless steel guide rod. I would recommend this gun to anyone.

The .45 Glocks tend to be some of the most accurate ones, including the GAP.

I can't shoot the regular .45 Glock as it is too big for my little paws, but I like the SF version. I really like the Glock 36 which is the single stack .45 sub compact version - very easy to hold.

Much as I liked it, I just sold my Bul M5 double stack. It was one of the very best OUT OF THE BOX examples of the Colt Govt model that I have owned ... and I've owned a LOT!! I bought the Bul M5 for it's undeniable value, quality build right out of the box, and because I had some interest in building up another .45 SUPER,. The BUL M5 puts you most of the way there .... all you need is some correct .45 STUPIDO brass, a set of HEAVY progressive recoil springs, a bit of extractor tuning, and maybe a trim on the ejector ... and WALLA ... .45 STUPID is yours. But I ain't got a real need to argue with grizzle bars no more, so the BUL M5/.45 Maximus project fell by the wayside.

Of course, the MAIN reason I sold the BUL was because it just wasn't a Glock.
These days I've got a few Glocks, and have decided to standardise on them for ALL my pistol shooting. I once owned a G 21, and much as I enjoyed it for SLOW fire, the damn grip was just too big for snatching the gun out of a holster with a consistent grip, so the gun was useless to me for IPSC or real world social discourse. So it went away.

However, I have handled the 21 SF at a gun shop, and I was impressed ... it fits my hand WAY better than the old G 21, better than the Para Ordnance double stacks [ even when customised ala grinding a bunch off the frame ], and even better than the BUL. So I am thinking my next Glock purchase will be a G 21 SF. I don't have any other .45 ACP pistoils at the moment .... and if I get the urge to build another .45 SUPER ..... well ... apparently it has been done on the Glock 21.
