I'm surprised that the 338 at 1 mile would swing the target with such authority. 5/16" or 3/8" AR500 plate???

I like your style Clayne_b, that is sweet. I spent a portion of my sunday shooting clay pigeons at 300 with my Tacsol X-Ring. I'm on the hunt for more space to see how far I can stretch this thing.

I did a mile with a tuned up 243. Spotting the misses was a lot more difficult.

I'm so jealous, I wanna get into long range so bad but the funding it not there just yet, and besides living in Suburbia doesn't help, even though I do have a military base close by that has a range on it.

Try a 223. Although recovering jackets Made into pretty flowers is pretty cool.

I shot a 3 round group today at a kilometre. It was an ugly group but it was the first time I manged to put all three rounds on the target at that range. I am fairly accurate at 700 but couldn't seem to get the math right for 1000 until today. Pretty excited and looking forward to trying again.
