I would like to think my skill using a firearm was the reason this 5 shot group was possible. I know it has more to do with my hand loading, trigger job, sand bags, newly constructed shooting table, and a whole heap of luck.
Its nice to know that the tool in your hands is capable of shooting like this. Its too bad that when you take the shot and miss, it is your fault.
This was, to date, my best group ever! Is it repeatable, not by me. I do have to say that this was with my Thompson center. The most amazing thing is that because its a break open action, it got picked up, reloaded, and set back down between every shot.
100 yards, .223 rem, 40 grain blitzkings. I think that is good enough for a hunting rifle.
