Shot an X5 today

I was checking the specs on the Sig home page, and it looks like the standard X5 has the lightest trigger pull. The trigger on the tactical is about as light (or heavy) as an HK USP.

Ohh i see.

The X5 i saw at P&D (quite a while ago BTW) was about 2500, it was the X5 competition with the black grips, magwell etc...

If i could have gotten it for 1500 on sale i would have done so without thought :p

I think somthing to watch on the X5s, is that only the Allround uses standard 226 mags. The other X5s take a different mag that costs considerably more. I think that most Allround frame parts are the same as standard 226 parts as well?

Can anyone confirm?

I think you are right. The more inexpensive X-Five's take a common 226 Mag.

The X-Five Standard does not have an inexpensive Magazine. Here are a few prices I found.

MAGAZINES
34221702 P220 45 ACP, 7rd $70.95
34221704 P220 45 ACP, 8rd $84.50

34260611N P226 9mm, 10rd, Nkl $84.50

MAG226XFIVE-9MM X-FIVE 9mm, 10 rd $158.50
MAG226XFIVE-40 X-FIVE 40 S&W,m 10 rd $158.50

MOS-MAG-10 MOSQ 22LR, 10 rd $45.95
1911750 1911 45 ACP, 8 rd, SS $35.50

Nope, the standards 226 mag fit very well in the top of the line X5 (with the magwell and the Nill grip...etc). Just look at my first post with the pics.

That is a very good news because I have 2 unused ''real'' X5 mags and they costed me about 130$ each.... When you use the standard 226 mag, the only thing is that you have to get used is to give the mag just a little push up with your thumb on the mag base plate so it will ''click'' in place inside the magwell. Very easy to do when your practicing reloading drill. Then you ready to rock and roll...

I haven't adjusted the trigger on mine and it is already a real ''hooker''...lol :p Some of my friend have PPC9 and I can tell you that the trigger can't because compared. The adjustable X5's trigger is amazing.

The gun is also very tight and you can see the difference betwee a german made gun and a german engineered gun (regular 226). The barrel is also made of SS.
