SHOT.....Any Lumberjacks here.........KNIGHTS Chainsaw

So would trying to use any of those upper rails.

However, it looks like the 'something just for fun' post is correct

Rediculous or "just for fun" projects are the best, it helps to keep things light hearted in the shop.

We had a customer asking about extending a Remington 700 base so it was an inch longer. I designed one up on the computer, and then just for fun I made one that was about 2 feet long. It actually didn't look all that bad. :)

Well - it seems like more of a publicity tool - kinda like Magpull's little fold out PDW thing it introduced last year. The platform could be used as a robot mounted weapon, or it could be mounted as a vehicle weapon of some sort by simply changing the grip. I would assume the trigger is electronic, just a guess...

LOL!

Trivia question:

What machine gun did they use in the movie aliens as the basis for the "smart guns" or whatever the SAW's were? Hint: Look at the receiver and charging handle...

Special bonus round:

What SMG(big hint) did they use for the marines "pulse rifles"? Again look at the charging handle and receiver.

If you're the first one to guess them right I'll send you 5 SKS stripper clips....NO CHARGE!! :) (ok they're basically free but its a fun prize)

Yes you can use google but its almost like cheating.

The Chainsaw works with tracer - and at night with a PEQ and ANVIS combo.

The theory is that it will work with a HUD and link with the gun for aiming/direction etc.

The Flare laucher from Spikes Tactical was added for a joke.

In truth it was a joke initally and then worked really well in a certain setup.

The MG42 has already been mentioned for the M56 Smart-gun :D

It used a steady-cam mount.... I would love to buy an old steady-cam mount and get a Semi MG42 attached to it :runaway:

The Pulse rifle used a Thompson SMG with a shortened remmington 870 as the "grenade" launcher. Had the heat shield of the Franchi Spas12 and pump.

I dont want any SKS stripper clips, I dont have an SKS and i have too much crap already :p
