Steve, it's a Glock. It looks stupid to start with.

If they provide more/better grip, who cares what they look like.

I like it in all honesty. The slide serrations don't look as good as the other gen's, but whatever.

I think it would make WAY more sense to have the serrations the other way around... If you look at the rear of the gun and imagine pulling the slide back, you will see what I mean; the way they are on there now kind of defies the purpose of improving traction for your fingers.

If the serrations were facing the other way, it would actually make a lot of sense and help in having a positive grip on the slide (and it wouldn't snag on anything while being pulled out of a holster either). But, since Glock seems to have screwed it up so bad, I have to say that the previous generation looks better/is more functional (which I own).

A series of front serrations would have helped. Doesn't look like the controls are ambi, not that I care.

I like it too, it made my 3rd gen NOT SO UGLY. Bloody hell, I thought they will come up something different.
