Shot Gun Adapters in Canada

Hi, I have been a lurking and I just came over and joined the forum. I do a lot of hiking and general walking around the woods. There is a year round season for coyotes in NS. You can only possess a .22 rifle or a shotgun with shot to hunt them in some parts of they year. (from my understanding).
I am curious about the single shot shotgun adapters like the ones offered by short lane gun adapters: http://www.gunadapters.com/scout-kit/ This is because I would like the ability to shoot different calibers from a break action shotgun and because with the adapters I could carry both the 12 gauge single shot and a single shot 22LR or 22Mag for coyotes. The short lane adapters are offered in 8 inch rifled to increase accuracy.

Can you simply just order them from the USA or is there any legal hoops to jump through?

Why are u afraid of a coyote what is he going to do to you ? Also if you have z shotgun why would you want a whimsy 22lr a 12or -20ga shotgun with bbor buck shot is much more effective and no u can't just order it from the us
 
Best bet is to contact the company of whatever brand you are looking at and see if they ship to Canada. In the case of the gun adapters.com that you mention in your post, if you go onto their site and click on their ebay listings, it only shows them as shipping to the United States.
 
I should call the company probably. I did do a search on "short lane adapters" but my key words were probably not enough or too many. Maybe I will try again. I was just quite curious on the legal side of things because they are not even remotely clear. Yes I would be using 00 buck or similar buck shot for the majority of the time but it would be also be cool to have a .22 adapter for a variety of reasons (small game, survival, plinking, etc)
 
Yes they ship to Canada but they only sell individual adapters. I will however still contact Short lane arms directly as the scout kit is really what I would like 8 Inch fully rifled in a variety of calibers. Thanks for the help.
 
Short lane does not ship to Canada. I got mine through self reliance outfitters
They only had individual units in Stock and selection was limited when I ordered
Wound up with a 45 acp as I have plenty of ammo
Been hitting pop cans at.25.yards on a regular basis
 
Knew I'd read this recently. Thanks for the info on Self Reliance Outfitters. Ordered an 8" short lane .22lr adapter. For some reason, break action shotguns seem to be breeding like rabbits around here (I've bought one, but somehow now have three of them). Figured I might as well accessorize them.
