I have purchased an older Citori forearm to replace my Schnabel forearm all the mechanisms fit perfect but the latch will not catch and close. Should I remove some of the wood where the barrels sit or is there a better way?
It looks like in need to remove about 1/8"

Thanks Grant

1,000 M.P.H. tape: The U.S. Navy uses duct tape to repair radomes. A Radome is the dome that fits over a radar antenna. On an airplane, that's usually the nose cone. It has to be transparent to the radar waves. (Any repairs must be radar-transparent, too on fighter aircraft.) Since the planes fly so darn fast, they call it “thousand mile an hour” tape. :D ;)

File the latch piece on the forearm(not the gun) to fit very carefully until you have proper engagement.....I say the forearm and not the gun, because one likes to work on the cheaper piece to replace in case of mistakes....
