Well I finally got my first Glock. Its a G34. I took it to the range today and I must say I am very impressed with it. It worked great with no problems at all and is quite accurate and easy to shoot. This is my second 10 shot mag I fired and it was shot at 15 yards. Overall I fired 200 rounds and had a great day with it. I am not sure I like it as much as my CZ SPO1 Shadow but it is close. I am sure in time it will grow on me. The one thing I really noticed is that how hard it is to load the mags on the Glock. Now I know why they include the mag loader with the gun. The ammo I used was the 147 grain Combat Masters stuff. I guess I really couldn't be much happier, the only down side to this is now I want another Glock.

I just shot my first Glock (17) the other week and although I liked it I didn't do nearly as well with my shot placement as you did! Having said that I don't have a great deal of experience with handguns so that doesn't tell you much.

Coming from the very nice Sigs I was shooting prior to acquiring the Glock, I found the trigger a little hard to get used to. I'm considering some of the popular trigger mods that I have read about but won't do anything until I have put a few hundred more rounds down the pipe.

Well the G34 is more accurate than the 17 for many reasons trigger pull being one of them, but they are great reliable guns. The 10 rd mags are a pain to load but buy some 17 rounders pinned to 10 and you can load them by hand easily enough!

The SP01 and G34 aren't really in the same class....one has a polymer frame. The trigger does take some getting used to on a glock but your accuracy is looking not too shabby.

I'm not sure what everyone means about the glock mags...I really don't find them all that bad.

ya, the 34 (and likely 35) are very nice Glocks! and evidently they're not that much more than the normal Glock 17 / 22 stuff if you find the right store at the right time.

The G34 already has a better trigger than the 17 it is also a much nicer gun to shoot as your target shows you will learn to love it then you you have to buy more to keep it company in the safe lol

When I first saw it I said to myself: OMG that has got to be the ugliest pistol I've ever seen. The 17 isnt too bad, but this one with the extended slide... (My personal taste, sorry ;))

But I shot my buddie's and it does shoot very well! The trigger feels like the 17, maybe a bit better. Are the parts interchangeable?
