Fun, but humbling.
My pistol stage was clean, but I lost time when I had a misfire and did not immediatley tap, rack and fire. I was in shock the gun did not fire and checked the mag to make sure it was loaded. Duh!
The rile and shotgun sessions were fine so long as i could stay in one palce, but as soon as i had to fire while walking, the wheels fell off. never done that before. Moving and fireing a hand gun is easy. Had no idea it was so difficult with a long gun.
Note to self: Throw some rounds with no powder into the practice ammo bucket, so the misfire drill becomes automatic. Practice firing a long gun on the move with a 22.
