Yes Lorne I had figured they were handloads, I had just heard about factory ammo being bad for meat damage, and that was the only information I had heard. And yes I would choose the Barnes TSXs over the Nosler BTs I think.

I've been using a 270 WSM for a while now with 130 gr TSX bullets, and my observations are similar in that the TSX bullets don't seem to damage meat as much as other designs. I think you're on the right track trying a TSX.
