Shot my Mule Deer

Yes Lorne I had figured they were handloads, I had just heard about factory ammo being bad for meat damage, and that was the only information I had heard. And yes I would choose the Barnes TSXs over the Nosler BTs I think.

Doug these were handloads.I am going to try 140 Barnes out.My buddy has 270WSM he uses Barnes. He shot his Cow Elk with it and there was nothing for meat damage

I've been using a 270 WSM for a while now with 130 gr TSX bullets, and my observations are similar in that the TSX bullets don't seem to damage meat as much as other designs. I think you're on the right track trying a TSX.

Nice deer really wide for it's mass!

Your pic as got me pumped for my annual muley excursion in 10 days time.....

Well done!
