You are without a doubt the most single-minded and ill-informed aspirant I have ever had the pleasure of tormenting....
Do you not see the obscurity or your foolhardy postulations, you have the audacity to hijack my thread with your implausible head-shot claims... and then try to chastize me for running shots.
You obviously have a bone to pick... you don't have any facts or numbers to back up your rediculous assumptions... all you do is post nonsense and inflammatory rhetoric.
I submit that you and your opinions are without merit... and I reject your neverending gibberish as the feeble simpering of a jealous pretender. :(

Why don't you start your own thread about the wonders of stalking to within a few yards of big game animals only to reject them as not suitable for shooting in the head. That surely will have all the budding Nimrods flocking to you for hunting advice..... :)
Thanks for the entertainment.:p

Flattery will get you now where.:D
As I said, you and your guys keep shooting for the front shoulder and hitting them in the head. You are a legend in your own mind.:p
I didn't hijack your thread I just pointed out a low percentage shot you wanted to sweep under the carpet.;)
The animal I was looking for would have been shot behind the front shoulder as I was looking for one to mount.
As for the entertainment, why, your welcome.:D

If you send me five bucks I will send you a picture of my trophy room..;)

ive taken a few deer...most were hit in the oven...but i have taken them also on shots from eye hole to arse hole...id say about 95 % of them were one shot kills...and i do not consider my self a sharp eyed shooter...as far as stalking them...ive tried many a time,s...but they are smarter then me..
anytime i get close to a deer it,s because the poor bastard was in the wrong place at the wrong time

See, it wasn't that hard now was it..:p Pretty soon you will be singing the praises of stalking skills and looking upon running shots with disgust.:p I can only hope.:)
There you go again with your foolish assumptions...
What makes you think we have no stalking skills, we hunt more with Archery and Muzzleloaders than we do with Modern firearms... most of our deer are shot with a still/stand hunting Combination.
Still waiting for you to post something other than nonsense, how about something informative... educational... even funny would be good.
Stalking Skills...
You don't even have talking skills...:p

Excellent stalking skills are a must. Stalk your deer, then when the get up and start to run, shoot them :p Must give them a sporting chance right? :D
Not fair shooting the standing ones :p

I figure most deer that are shot, are stupid deer. The smart ones will live out their lives without a bullet passing near them.

I resent the spray and pray analogy by the way. Running shots are a practiced art. They are not a game of chance.

Out of the 20 deer we harvested this year 12 were taken running with slugguns... and two were taken running with Muzzle loaders, none were wounded, all vital hits.

12/20=60% Have math skills too.:D
You are tripping over your own words, I would hate to see you in the bush.:(

12 + 2 = 14.... I guess they don't do math in special school...:D
That was only this year you flake......
You would never meet me in the bush... you would walk right by and never see me... :p
You really need to think of something constructive to add to these threads... your incessant sniping is getting really lame.
What are you trying for... to be the new KMB

14/20= 70% Holy smoke that's not a trip that's a stumble.

I don't think it to be in good form to call me what your mother raised.

You would never meet me in the bush... you would walk right by and never see me... :p

I would definately hear you.:p

A running shot for the majority of hunters is a low percentage, high risk to wound shot.:(

What are you trying for... to be the new KMB

Absolutely brilliant:rolleyes: A reply from a person backed into a corner and desperately searching for an intellegent response.

I am thinking that anyone who cannot spell INTELLIGENT... is not intelligent enough to debate with ... I will give the last word to the "Headshot Troll"
Although I would really like to see some pics of you with your trophy's walksalot... never gonna happen:D

Your debateing skills if likened to a boxing match you would be blocking all the punches with your head.:D

I am far from a "TROLL". I am consistent and very difinate in my philosophy on headshots.;)

I wouldn't show you my trophies as I hunt by myself and that's all I need is to be pestered by you to take you hunting or teach you stalking skills.

As a final note, I think your philosophy on running shots is both hypocritical and fraught with contradiction to say the least.:(

When are you going to realize that your opinion stands alone here... you are the ONLY one that thinks this way.... you are a minority of one... poor deluded walksalone...:(

I guess you can't show pictures you don't have.....:p

Thats all we needed to know... you can have your inconsequential last word now...:D

I know I stand alone when I criticize running shots because in some hunting communities it is a dark kept secret and those who speak out are subject to ridicle and scorne but as you can see, the popularity list dosen't mean a whole lot to me.

Debates like this are healthy and productive as if only one person shoulders his/her rifle and leaves the safety on and passes on a high risk to wound shot because they are not close to 100% sure they can make the shot then it has been worth while.

I can tell you that running shots and the ability to make them are neither ridiculed nor uncommon in most of Canada... or by the majority of hunters!

You are absolutely right about healthy debate and I agree that if one shooter leaves the safety on for a low percentage shot it is worth it!
We only disagree on what each of us considers a low percentage shot;)

The popularity list is not what I speak of either... I speak only of majority opinion!

Hey wait a minute... this thread is back on the topic... I must think of an insult quick:eek: :D
