Been trying the T&E angle quite a bit.
Might be a few developments on that front to come, nothing certain, wait and see.
Never going to happen. The minute Dillon starts shipping a case feeder, they say they have to deal with ITAR and State Department headaches. As it is now, they make hobbyist equipment and seem determined to remain as such.
Case feeder's not an issue - a bullet feeder would be t*ts. I've seen the GSI and the RCBS, I think Dillon should just buy the GSI design - very nicely integrated into the press. Definitely looking at getting a 650 this year.
The GSI is an over engineered piece of ####. If Dillon starts shipping them with presses...I may have to buy a Lee 
Dillon really needs to address a few issues with the new 1050s and that stupid link arm. As well they should consider a new press altogether. something with more stations, and more options, before and after the powder hopper. a better primer feed system would be nice too. a twelve or 14 position toolhead would be perfect. and whoever comes out with one, so long as it's quality, is going to take a lot of business from Dillon.

ALSO IF IT IS NOT SET UP RIGHT AND TUNED YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS. DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY I HAVE SOLD, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE A LOOK AT THE OPERATOR BEFORE BEEKING OFF.

The dillon may be a bit mroe complex than other presses that is true. So keep that in mind when things aren't going your way. There are TONS of things that can go wrong with the blue presses. I have a 550B and when i set it up right and tweak every little thing just the way it wants to be it runs like a Toyota inline 6...perfectly and unfailing.

It is very easy for alot of the people on this site to complain about a product or a person or dealer. Just a thought on the next statement. Why not get help from those people the apparrent problem is with istead of b/////ing about it on here. This is just a thought.

I'm with you on this one. I'm not sure if I need 12 stations but I could use a couple more on the 1050.

I have talked to Dillon many times. They have been very good to me with all my dillon presses. However I have not seen some of the changes that I have heard many people talking about happen.
Whatever it's there business and I will continue to support them.
However if some one comes out woth a better product and the same service away I will go.
I don't beleive that anyone is really crapping on Dillon, or blaming them entirely, just pointing out somethings that could be improved.

Well, I could use an extra few holes on my 1050, thats for sure. Trim die, powder check, bullet feeder, to name a few.
The only reoccuring problem I have ever had with the 1050 is priming. (I long ago took off the ratchet lock, never had a problem in 15,000 rounds and counting.) The priming arm would stop about a 1/4" short of getting the primer all the way under the case awaiting priming, causing the press to stop dead and make me push the primer slide manually. This would happen between every 5- 50 rounds seemingly at random.
I tried all the troubleshooting methods, took the press apart multiple times and putting it together as per the manual.
Called Dillon, they mentioned somthing about moving the swingarm down so it was just a few thou. of an inch about the bottom, but that served only to destroy the plastic nub of the primer slide.
Finally, I took a good hard look at the spring systems of the primer slide, and it hit me that the primer slide return spring was too powerful, causing the slide to stop early.
I cut half a coil off that spring, reassembled, and voila. Not one single priming related problem in the last 6000 rounds, minus a backwards primer that was my fault loading the primer tube, and the ocational crushed primer from that ####ty S&B brass that slips through my screening. (Plenty of threads on the out of spec primer pockets of S&B brass.)
I <3 My 1050 so much now that I got it running smooth.
Got a MR. BULLETFEEDER on the way, and if everything keeps running as smoothly as it does now, I will consider automating it with the Ponsess Warren unit.
