SHOT SHOW 2011 - Remington 870 Express Tactical

Pretty much every firearms company I talked to had some new unbeatable finish to talk about, and Remington was no exception. Theirs is the patented "tough as nails ArmorLokt coating".
My apologies if the spelling on the coating name is wrong, can't read my own writing.

That looks like the 887 nitro tactical. Other side of the barrel clamp is asmall rail for mounting optics

The guy refered to it as an 870, and the label under it says 870.
I can offer no other explanation.

I like the coatings on some of the new guns....makes them feel like one of those rubber cases that fit over cell phones

Funny thing, the first "rust proof Armorloct coated 887" I ever pulled out of the box had rust on the magazine tube. Tough sell when that happens in front of a customer.

Guess if I was going to take out a drug lords place, I'm sure that gun would spray the buckshot well. Nice looking...sure. My 870 works for me.

Agree.......... you can't miss the differences between the 870 Tactical and the 887 Tactical as described on the Remington website.
