That is right....Steyr made a 50 that will injure the operator everytime. You think maybe they tested it a bit? You guys kill me.
It's okay, half the people making accusations here probably haven't even shot a .50BMG rifle. They see that big scary bullet and fail to realize the weight and muzzle break attached to it!
I own the HS50 and I would jump at the opportunity to shoot the HS-50M1, definitely not a dangerous to user firearm.
If you wouldn't jump at the opportunity to fire one, that insinuates you have not fired this model yet. So how can you say its not dangerous to the operator?
My argument is not that its dangerous, but that its not efficient to have the magazine on the side of the rifle. With the added weight on the side, it will make it more difficult to hold level. Its pretty obvious to see. Why did they stop producing weapons with the magazine system on the side after WW2? there not effective, make the weapon platform unbalanced. Besides making the weapon pretty much unless if your left handed.

For the right price id pick one up, Id be a little concerned about that magazine placement though. Looks like a good teeth taker-outer.
