I was wondering about this as well. I had a nice convesation with a staunch Toronto dwelling anti gun guy at work about the zombie max ammo for ####s and giggles. He is a big movie buff so I knew he would like the advert for hornady, we talked about all sorts of guns that would be best to use against aliens. 2 hours later, he fell in love with a gun I showed him and registered for his rPAL course. He said his first purchase will be a pair of nickel plated 1911's with zombie grips and some boxes of zombie max.

Good or bad, hate or love, if you present it to anti gun people in the right way its a good thing.

i must say yesterday was the most fun i have had at the range . they nay sayers about this stuff are missing out . there were 3 of us made a wager first one to hit at 200 yards . it just made a really fun day at the range. little expensive but worth it once and a while

seriously... Im a romero fan, and read the zombie comic books for a long time now... if I had #### like that on my gun Id have to kick my own ass though.
 
Vampires, then zombies, wonder whats next? I wouldnt put all that crap on my gun for the same reason i dont cover my car with stickers and airbrush art...Just doesnt look clean in my opinion. But each to there own i guess...and if it gets more people into guns then i say go for it.
 
I think the zombie and gun thing is just sort of an inside joke now. It's sort of a way to redirect people who don't understand why people own guns into a more humorous directions. Some of my friends who don't understand why I keep firearms and waste money on ammo shooting paper just laugh when I tell them I'm preparing for the zombies. They don't understand, might as well give them a laugh. It's just one of those industry funnies. So just let it happen. Not like people are really preparing for the zombies.. Or are we? haha

I agree... I used to like the whole zombie FAD, but now it's getting a little rediculous... enough is enough... leave it to the marketing wienies to always over use something...
