SHOT SHOW 2013: Master Piece Arms MPAR

I'd be happy to exercise a sample product for a dealer or the manufacturer.;)

You need to change the name of this rifle.

Get rid of the letters "AR" from it's label.

Call it anything else you want. But not with those letters. (Don't use AK either!)

Personally I think it looks great. I would be happy to buy one if under $1200. Over that and I would have to fire a friends and really fall in love with it. The NR status, as always, will make or break the rifle. Hopefully the RCMP dont stall it for 18 months

has anyone heard much about this company? Im tryin to find more info on the rifle. However this gun...is gorgeous, add the 5.56 and the NR and all i can say is :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: yes! Greentips/Pat from blue line, any info ya got would be awesome!!

The Canadian version is actually called the MPA-RC (Masterpiece Arms Rifle Canada). We are very excited to working on bringing this rifle to the Canadian market. Pricing will be dependent on several criteria. This is a purpose built model for Canada and we must change things such as the Canadian spec 18.51" barrel and any other modifications which could be required to obtain a Non-Restricted status. Unfortunately all of these changes cost money so we will not be able to provide an exact price for the rifle until it has been approved. Our goal is to keep the price as low as possible so we are able to move as many rifles as possible.

Best regards from Shot Show,
Ryan Patterson

It was light, and felt pretty slick in the hand.

Although it doesn't seem to have a last round hold open for the bolt. Maybe that was just the prototype they had on display? I guess the US version is good to go in April.
