Two years ago I spoke to Hakan Spuhr, the owner of Spuhr about his cantilever scope mounts. I owned one at the time, but found it a little high and it needed to be extended further. When I mentioned this, he told me that he had gotten similar feedback from others and was going to design a new cantilever mount that addressed these concerns. Well, he came through and now has extended 30mm and 34mm cantilever mounts that put the center of the scope 1.25" above the top of the rail and extend the front ring 3" forward.
He also created a stand-alone tool for leveling a scope that allows his 10 degree wedge system to be used with any scope and rings, provided the scope is high enough to clear it.
