SHOT Show 2018 – Tikka T1x MTR

not a rumor.......it's the truth

Just spoke with a canadian vendor and they said they are still on track for june arrival. I dont see how that can be considering they arent hitting the US market yet. My guess is when we start seeing them on US sites for sale and reviews popping up on youtube, we will start seeing ours. It would be really nice if they hit both markets at the same time though, its expected to be a big seller.

They have all gone on vacation in Finland and Sweden. What was shipped was 300 “ worldwide” of the 17 hmr , so it looks like fall for the guns promised in June. The only way to get information is to go to the states, the rimfirecentral.com. Canadians businesses don’t care about updating us, unless it’s a black gun

Nothing on the American sites today

My buddy lives in lame California and emailed me this the other day.

Hello ###:

Thank you for contacting Beretta Customer Support.

The T1x shipment is delayed indefinitely, there were some undisclosed snags getting them from Finland. We are looking to fulfill orders ASAP.

Best regards,

Newest scuttlebutt. Sako Sweden from their Facebook site. Dealers should see 22lr mid September with a “ steadier “ flow early October. Don’t know if this just meant Europe but at least it’s hope

More scuttlebutt from Beretta Australia. They are shipping 17hmr to their shops in “ limited quantity “ this maybe part of the “ summer 300”. The word on the 22lr is 4-8 weeks but they say don’t hold your breathe because of the high number of orders (worldwide) and paperwork. The above is for the Australian market.

Update from Tikka: Aug 30 (thus I assume production started then mid August)

[FONT=Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif]"Unfortunately the production start of the rimfire T1x was postponed from planned schedule last spring and the manufacturing started few weeks ago. There are lots of back orders and we try to deliver the orders as soon as possible. Unfortunately I'm not able to give any exact date when the deliveries will reach your country. We are trying our best to keep the distributors up to date of the situation so I believe they can give you the closest estimation on the availability of the T1x. Thank you for the patience!
With best regards"
