Anyone at shot show care to comment on new combat optics from Aimpoint, Eotech, Trijicon, Elcan and Browe?
How about new slings?
Quality Rifle and Pistol cases and bags?
How about speed safes/vaults for pistols and rifles?
How about binoculars with embedded laser range finders?
And semi auto rifles in the 300 aac blk? Quality ammo in .300 aac blk?
New quality ammo in .223? .308? 7.62x39?

I thought the threads were a little light! I had a great time, but between writing for TFB and scheduled meetings I was run off my feet every day. I'm glad I didn't hit the normal media day on monday, I had way more fun out with the Las Vegas Police Dept.

It was a good show. But I'm glad I didn't stay all week. That's a lot of vegas for me!
 
There are a few new optics and the reports are coming up. I can only work so fast.

On the other hand, in general, there are not as many completely new products this year. Most of the new products had come out in 2013 already, and manufacturers are just starting to push them out on the shelf. Most of the so called new products are cosmetic or evolutionary in nature. Many companies really do not have any new products, unless you want to see boring stuff like AR15 made by FN or a picture of the same AR from last with a longer handguard. The Keltech and the Desert tech MDR are the odd balls.

I was wondering if you had the time to swing by the burris booth? I am really interested in the xtr 2 in 1.5-8x28.
