Ordered the 12 gauge CZ Canvasback online last Sunday night, just picked it up from the Post Office this evening. 7 days to the GTA. :dancingbanana:

Opened her up and the gun looks like a great value and can't beat that price.

Have handled several sub-$1000 over/unders in the last couple of weeks and I can honestly say the fit, finish and function (not too stiff and locks up tight) is just as good if not better than any I have handled.

Can't wait to shoot some clays this weekend!
Thanks

You'll love your Canvasback! You also picked the perfect store to order it from!

I've got over 12,000 shells through mine and it's bombproof!

You may want to try this, but remember, your mileage may vary!

Take a look at this thread on ShotgunWorld.com!

Yeah I stumbled across your posts while researching the CZs, looks great. Wood could definitely use some polishing. Just picked up a new 17HMR this week as well so no time for polishing when there's shooting to be done. Maybe next weekend.

Might try Botts polish idea. For now just want to bust some birds.

Love it! Very nice shotgun. IMHO the only gun that is nicer is still aprox $500 bucks more and that's a Franchi Instinct L. I love my CZ canvasback!! :) got mine from wolverine almost 2 years ago now.

Only small issue I had with mine had do with the sling swivels mounted on the stud from the factory. The steel was rather soft and the flat head screws used twisted off so I just dremelled them off very carefully
