I purchased a BT99 a while ago that is both backbored and has the forcing cone removed. The work was done by a fella in Michigan (Mount Clemens area I think) who has an excellent reputation.
The gun shoots fabulously. I love shooting it. Low recoil and it just makes dust out of clays.
Just what does backboring do for a gun?
Is there any other benefit to having the forcing cone removed other than to reduce recoil?
