Hello All,
I own a Remington Model 11-48. I am considering shortening the barrel, however I am unsure what the measurement laws are. Firstly, do I measure from where the barrel appears to leave the receiver, from where it actually meets the receiver (0.5 inches in from where it appears to leave the receiver) or do I measure from the barrel tang? (3.0 inches from where it appears to leave the receiver). The barrel tang that slides into the anterior wall of the shotgun IS technically part of the barrel. If I could count it, I would be able to reduce the length of the shotgun by a further 3 inches.
Please give me your insight!
Yours,
Drachenblut
