BAIKAL MP 153 semi auto

X2 I bought mine 5 years ago when I didn't have much money for a shotgun. It's a tank. Been to hell and back with it. Only Jamed once on me and it was the last round in the gun and it Jamed open.

I have bought many others since then. But I always grab that when I go out. With one exception for chickens. 12g is a little much for them at 5 to 25 yards.

I do use the classic 870 everyday for work. Hard to go wrong with them.

I voted for "other" as I usually shoot either a 12 gauge Beretta O/U or Baikap MP-153 semi. However I also have others including a 1970s vintage 20 gauge 870 Wingmaster standardweight.

Good choice CanadaBoy.
I also voted "other" because I also shoot a Baikal MP-153.

Other here as well..... I use a Baikal mp153 max4 camo. Its pretty nice to have a semi auto that cycles heavy loads and target loads reliably. I have never had a cycling or jamming problem, after hundreds of rounds....ever, not 1 single problem.

I just with I could get a rifled barrel for it. Not sure if they are made ?

Different guns for different purposes. I use a 20ga Valmet O/U for all but waterfowl.
I just picked up a 20ga CZ ringneck that is steel compatible, so that scenario may change.
I have an 870 3-1/2 waterfowler special and an SBEII I use for waterfowling, predominantly the SBE. I have a Mossberg 500 3" 12ga that was bought for turkey only.
Up until steel was mandated for waterfowl, I used the Valmet 20 for everything.

For Trap I have a few Krieghoff K-80 Combos, 1 is a Trap Special Hi rib, that I'm just getting used to.
For hunting I like my Browning Maxus 3.5"
I have some older SXS guns, all are used in the field, some are Damascus and I reload for them with Black Powder.

Bought a cute little 870 clone shotgun from a friend with a really cool aperture sighting system and a short barrel (10.5" I think?) called a Dominion Arms Grizzly.

Nice and short for the heavy brush huntin I like to do and real accurate with rifled slugs.

It peeves me off that I can't take it stateside when I go down to hunt cause it's a Norinco (Chinese make) and a NFA (not the gun group) shortbarrel shotgun to boot.

Maybe someday.

Beretta XtremaII. Love the flawless performance and salt-water resistance, but wish it was not such a big, funky stock configuration (more conventional would be nice).

I have owned a Remington 870 and 11-87

Now I have;

Benelli Super Nove Tactical 14"

Benelli Super Nove Field 24"

and buying soon Benelli M2 Tactical
