This will be my first season turkey hunting and I'm wondering if I should paint/camouflage my shotgun for this? I will be using and older Mossberg 500AB with 30in full choke barrel. It certainly doesn't sparkle in the sun anymore, just wondering if he really needs paint.
Also I plan to pattern some turkey shells to see what this gun likes to shoot the best. This gun will take 2 3/4" and 3" as well. Is there any point in trying 2 3/4" turkey shells, or does everyone use 3 or bigger? I'm 99% sure this gun has never fired a 3" in its life would that matter?
