Just wondering if anyone has found a source of these where they are actually in stock and not a unreasonable price ?
Call me crazy but I dont see how they should cost more then most actual magazine's ?
Thanks for any tips

I have some Esstac cards from rdsc, I think they were about $20 each which was acceptable to me. I also have some shot cards from SJ hardware, they are slightly cheaper, just as nice as the Esstacs and frequently go on sale. Also in stock most of the time, and i believe made in Canada. The ones from SJ are slightly looser out of the box, which makes them easier to load, the Esstacs are very tight. The Esstacs may last longer, but not sure.

I ordered some directly from the US Esstac site.
On 13-DEC
$15 USD each for the 7rd
$27 USD for shipping, flat rate to Canada
Currently awaiting customs inspection and release.
Since 23-DEC

The multicam are milspec.

Should work out to about $25 CAD each after duties for 13.

S&J is a Canadian manufactuer that always seems to have them in stock.

LOF and Perroz are two other Candian manufacturers, they're made to order and have long lead times though.

Ordered from AliExpress 3 for 13$ delivered in less PXL_20230103_175644631.MP.jpgthen 2 weeks. Seems like great quality.PXL_20230103_175921439.jpg

What was the update they did?

Seems like they're now producing domestically with better materials and a few material updates. Beyond the webbing, they seem to have designed it to work with 12 or 20, and reduced the size of the pull tab so it doesn't get in the way as much as others. All that said, I do not have the new product. Hopefully soon.

Oh man, I thought this was a thread for those cool shotgun trading cards by upper deck. I have a rare Rem870 rookie, signed by Mossberg 500...

No, this is a serious discussion about serious tactical gear, from seriously tactical manufacturers such as: "EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER" Laugh2

On an actual serious note though, I've used the S&J hardware ones for a few years and haven't had issues. At some point I plan to order some Esstac cards since people are quick to recommend those.

A few years ago since I had a bulk of velcro sitting around I tried to go the cheapest route I could by buying an airsoft shotshell bandolier from amazon, cutting it into sections of 6 loops and sewing the velcro to the back of said sections. I learned that A.) I can't sew very well. B.) Sewing through three layers of reasonably thick nylon is incredibly hard by hand and C.) Buy shotgun cards from someone who knows how to make them.

Lots of variety here - I bought a 4-pk last Fall for ca $24 or so.

EDIT - I looked up order and edited above $

I have 3 or 4 makes of cards, the absolute best are Vang Comp, next are S&J. Esstac with the little loop on them are not much fun, it's amazing how many times that little loop gets caught on stuff, buttons on shirts, fingers, branches, watch straps, if it sticks out, it'll get snagged on.

Ok mr serious, I can be super tacticool serious as well. I have 4 or 6 of those spanker amazon ones and 2 of the gen 1 S&Js. There is really no comparison. The biggest part bing the elastic loops. The spanker ones wear out quickly, especially if left with shells in them. The elastic breaks down pretty quickly, where as the S&J ones use a much higher quality elastic for the loops, thicker and tighter. The spanker ones are fine for very casual use but the S&J ones are worth the extra $$$ I plan on picking up a few of the Gen 2s.
