Shotgun for wife

Then I found here a Canuck O/U 410 on sale, and that is her favourite gun now. If you are only ground swatting grouse, and not wingshooting, a 20 gauge single shot is ideal, it's light to carry, and shooting high with a 20gauge puts less shot in the breast, than shooting center mass with a 410..
 
Beretta 1301 comp with 21" barrel can and will do everything. Plus it's light enough to carry all day. I love my doubles but it's hard not to take the comp
The stepped rib and shorter lop and shorter barrel keep the weight between the hands. I run a skeet field and many new shooters and most of the ladies who have tried it really like it
Over sized controls are great in the cold as well
