I think it says no single projectiles?
That is what I understand...
but I haven't looked too closly.
I suspect you are not the only one.

I too hunt in an area where I can use any super magnum to hunt groundhogs if I choose, but am restricted to shotgun for hunting deer. I got myself a Savage 210 Slug Warrior to comply with the regs and yet ensure a humane and safe kill. It is a great gun, very accurate and fun to have/shoot but I would trade it for a good rifle the moment I was not required to use a shotgun.
No I said a good rifle.
I wouldn't use an under powered 45-70 for anything larger than Grounhogs
I would use my .308 rifle for deer if I didn't have to use the Shotgun. More accurate, cheaper to shoot, less recoil, cheaper to shoot.
The premium slugs are E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E.
unfortunatly i live in southern Bantario and we do have some yuppies that would go out thinking they can make a 600yd shot on a deer while half in the bag or severely hungover. Do i like having to use a shotgun because im stuck in a shotgun only area no, but ive learned a bad day in the bush is better then a day at work so i suck it up.

I suppose if you are on a budget you wouldn't want to pay for premium slugs. Does Hunting and inexpensive go hand in hand? It doesn't bother me to pay and play.
Mind you, buck shot isn't accurate nor reliable enough to hunt anything.
