Shotgun picture sticky???

I used a 2 3/4'' Federal Tru-Ball 1 oz slug on that doe. She ran about 20 feet and fell. The shot was taken at 20 yards. When field dressing, the entry and exit wounds were impressive.

I guess the Ithaca 37 Deerslayer series are gimmicks

M12 above is 1955, and 37 is 1948. Mossberg is 2008!

Thanks guys....I fell in love with the blank...and when I saw the final product...wowzers... probably the nicest in the province...at least the top 5...lol...I'll never get the money back for the gun IF I ever wanted to sell it..but I don't think I ever will...The pictures actually dont this thing justice..I'll try and get better detailed ones...the checkering is stunning...wicked pattern on the forend too..

It's a 12 gauge, take-down, 30" full choke barrel, made in mid 1911.
It's been more abused than used. I estimate less than 800rds have been fired thru it. I'm debating whether I should restore it or leave it as is. Leaving it as is means I can't shoot it...and I believe guns are made to be shot and not locked up in a safe...much like cars, even old ones, should driven and not locked in a garage or trailored to shows.

I've decided I'm going to restore/refinsh it afterall and have an inch or so taken off the barrel, then thin wall choke tubes installed. As it stands both the stock and forearm are too badly cracked to safely shoot and need to be replaced. There is also a screw/pin missing for one of the shell stops. Every other screw has damaged or stripped slots.
