Shotgun Press: MEC 600 Jr

Anyone reload shotgun using(or have used) a MEC 600 Jr press?

I picked up 3 of them on a trade (20, 12 and 10 ga). For the most part they are complete, but reading the manuals for them, seems I've got enough pieces to make 2 fully functioning presses from the 3 I've got.

Seems pretty straight forward, but there is an "L" bracket on the powder/shot charging bar that seems to interfere with another part. The manual doesn't touch on this.

Any advise on use of this press would be appreciated

The MEC 600 Jr is a great press. I use one for 410 and 20ga.

I think you may be referring to the PRO-CHECK which prevents spilled shot.

Take a look at the manual and it should make sense.

While the manual didn't explain exactly what I was hoping for, the combination of reading it again, and playing with the press cleared up my questions about it.

Now I guess I just need to empty some of my AA hulls(the fun way of course), so I've got something to try reloading.
