Is there anybody on this board who knows where a Stoeger IGA over and under can be sent to have firing pin work done?

It fires the bottom barrel then its locked closed because the firing pin won't retract from the primer dent.

When its finally opened there's a mark on the case head where the firing pin carved a groove down from the primer dent.

It has not happened yet on this gun but I have seen a worn out single barrel Trap gun fire on closing because the firing pin would not retract.

Thanks

Any competent gunsmith should be able to fix this, sounds like it's a dirty or worn pin. If you look on YT there's prob vids on fixing this, too.

What did Stoeger have to say about it... they are here in Oshawa:

Though it does sound like it might be a simple fix:
- bent/broken pin (maybe it got bent closing the action at one point and can't retract)
- broken spring, if it has a spring they can jam things up pretty good when they break
- dirty/crud it doesn't take much to jam a pin up real good.

Can you push the pin back in with your finger?

I'd take it apart looking for something obvious, if not - clean its guts real good, if the top and bottom pins are identical, swap them and see if it still behaves poorly.
If still no love - call Stoeger
